Too many of our family's websites go unappreciated- it's time we showed each other some love!! In that effort, the Zeta Phi Beta Sigma Times website, an award winning site in it's own right, recognizes those pages from our family that truly exemplify the high ideals of our organizations PLUS just look good!!

Your next question will be "okay, so how do I get a site award?"---I'm glad you asked!! Qualifications for consideration for a site award:

1. The website MUST be run by a Sigma or Zeta. Auxilliary groups (e.g.-Doves, Knights, Sweethearts, Stars, etc...) do not qualify (since they all mysteriously dissapeared back in 1990). The site can be a personal site, business site, non-profit organizational site, chapter website, special interest site, but the site MUST be maintained by a Sigma or Zeta.

2. Sites will judged on organization, ease of navigation, content, usefulness and consistency. In other words, I shouldn't have to click through seventeen different pages to find your events, or if you use frames, I shouldn't have one big page loading in one little tiny 100 X100 pixel box. No dead links. Check your page and make sure all your links work before you submit it for an award. Nothing is more annoying than the good ole' "Error 404 Site not found!".*

*this applies to links on YOUR site since you dont' know when folks on other sites will change their links.

And how useful is your website? Can I REALLY get a good representation of your organization from looking at the pics on your website and reading the text on your site? Any extra useful features on your site that other sites (including mine) don't have?

3. Websites containing profanity, nudity, or anything which does NOT uphold the principles of our organizations will NOT be given consideration for a site award.

Types of Site Awards

Currently, the TIMES has THREE different site awards which display different degrees of how PHAT your site is. They are as follows:

TIMES Headliner Site

Naturally, if your site is a HEADLINER, it is DA BOMB. Does your site catch everyone's eye? Does everybody and their momma know about your chapter website and continue to give it props and much dap? Then you could be eligible for this award.

TIMES Front Page Award

Your site is important enough to draw attention- when folks say "websites" in your circle of friends, they automatically think of YOUR site. You probably deserve this award.

The ZPBS Press Award

Is your site just plain cool? A great resource for members of the Blue and White Family? Well this award is just for you!
